The bathroom in the dialog of cultures.

During the week-long session of the fifth AquaTektur Workshop, away from everyday business and inspired by the location of the event – the Benesse House on the island of Noashima – 12 architects dealt intensively with the association between water, people and the room. This intercultural dialogue among the experts from Europe and Japan as well as Singapore resulted in reciprocal food for thought and new impulses concerning the topic of water and its handling, bathing and the bathroom.
