When Antonio Citterio was asked to design the
Bulgari Hotel in the centre of Milan, he combined
modern design with timeless classical looks and
utmost luxury. This was successfully achieved by
using precious woods, marble and granite and by
choosing a clear, geometrical design. For the
bathrooms of the suites Citterio chose the
collection which he himself designed for Axor.
The discreet luxury of the mixers and accessories
is only visible at second glance: reflective
surfaces, the luminosity of corners and edges,
high-quality materials and the perfect harmony of
forms. Following Citterio’s philosophy of floor
design, the toilet area is cleverly separated
from the generous area for wellness, which is fl
ooded with natural light. As a result, all the
elements come together to achieve an extremely
elegant and timeless bathroom design.
